Before we paint cabinets, we use a two-step degreasing and cleaning process to ensure maximum adhesion.
- We first use a special formula of Dawn dishsoap and water applied with a green scrubby pad. Dawn is a powerful degreaser that allows our primer to adhere to the wood surface prior to painting.
- Secondly, we use a 50/50 blend of rubbing alcohol and white vinegar applied with a clean rag, to remove any excess soap and grime.
